Community Funding Given Out So Far

Trees for the Queen’s Jubilee

To mark the Queen’s 75 years on the throne, East Grinstead in Bloom donated a fruit tree to every Primary School in East Grinstead and 10 Community Gardens within East Grinstead, making a total of 23 fruit trees for our pollinators to enjoy!

Further funding has also been given to:

Firpine Association – for planting.

Windmill Lane Community Garden for planting.

Lingfield Road Recreation Garden for planting.

The Town Twinning Millennium Garden – for planting.

The Compass Garden – for a shed.

The Tag Team’s Northdown Orchard for trees and landscaping materials.

Age UK (East Grinstead) for their Allotment start up.

Imberhorne Lower School – for pond repair.

Stone Quarry Cafe – for provision of herb planters.

These donations add up to £6,000 – all going to enhance our community.
