Volunteer roles available with East Grinstead in Bloom

21 November 2016

East Grinstead in Bloom works throughout the year to make the outside spaces in East Grinstead attractive for local people and visitors and suitable habitats for wildlife. We have won a number of awards in the annual Britain in Bloom competition.

We are all enthusiastic volunteers and now need to fill a number of volunteering roles. We are looking for:

  • Volunteers to plant, weed and tidy our many beds and borders around East Grinstead – enthusiasm is far more important than experience!
  • A Volunteer Coordinator – to make sure our volunteers feel valued. You will direct volunteers to where they are needed, and keep in regular contact with them
  • A Fundraiser – someone happy to organise some fundraising events, source raffle prizes etc.
  • Committee members to help decide the work we should undertake

Please phone or email Julie Mockford, Chairman, East Grinstead in Bloom on 01342 325552 or chairman@eastgrinsteadinbloom.org.uk.
