Help needed at Hurst Farm Pond

East Grinstead in Bloom needs volunteers to help with maintenance at Hurst Farm Pond. It would be a great help if you could spare just an hour of your time one Sunday afternoon a month.
We need to clear unwanted growth, such as brambles, from smothering the naturalised bluebells in our local beauty spot.
Have fun meeting others in a peaceful setting which is much enjoyed by the locals. We want to keep it natural and undeveloped where the local wild life can feel safe. You may even be able to see moorhens or mallards with their youngsters. This is also a good place to introduce youngsters to the beauty of nature.
