Front Gardens Competition 2014

The East Grinstead in Bloom committee has once again been busy browsing the beautiful gardens and businesses of East Grinstead. Each year the committee look at every garden in the town for the competition and this year some gardens were also nominated through Twitter and Facebook.

There are a variety of categories gardens and businesses can win including: Best Micro Garden, Best Front Garden and Best Landscaped Garden aswell as Best Commercial Premises and Best Pub.

The winners will be announced at the East Grinstead in Bloom Annual Presentation Awards Evening held at the end of September where the owners of the shortlist of finalist gardens/businesses are invited to attend.

Julie Mockford, Chairman of East Grinstead in Bloom said “I am looking forward to meeting the invitees at the presentation in September where they will receive their certificates/awards from East Grinsteads Town Mayor”.

Secretary, Samantha Baldery said “We are so proud to be able to present the owners of these beautiful gardens with an award that recognises their hard work. We also wish to encourage and praise other gardeners for their hard work. Together, we can keep East Grinstead looking great for residents and visitors to the town”.
